EMBROIDERY

Santa Barbara Embroidery ServiceS

Elevate your apparel with precision stitching built to last.

Embroidery delivers a refined, dimensional finish ideal for polos, jackets, hoodies, hats, bags, and premium workwear. It’s the go-to decoration method for brands and organizations looking for durability, texture, and a polished presentation.

Every embroidery project begins with digitizing, the process of converting artwork into a stitch file readable by our machines. Our team carefully maps stitch paths, densities, and thread changes to ensure your design translates cleanly from screen to fabric.

Before production, each file is test-run and adjusted as needed to guarantee quality, legibility, and long-term wearability.

When it comes to embroidery, simplicity often creates the strongest impact. Clean logos and thoughtful placement paired with quality garments produce timeless results.

Embroidery minimums start at 24 pieces per design.

The Embroidery Process

1. Select Your Garments

Choose from premium blanks like polos, jackets, hats, crewnecks, or bags. We’ll guide you toward styles that pair well with embroidery.

2. Digitizing

We convert your artwork into a stitch file engineered for embroidery production. Don’t have embroidery-ready art? Our team can prepare or recreate it for you.

3. Thread & Color Matching

Select from our curated thread library. We work closely with brand color references to achieve the closest possible match in thread.

4. Proof & Production Approval

You’ll receive a digital proof showing placement and scale. Once approved, your order moves into stitching production.

EMBROIDERY Techniques & FAQS

What is your minimum order?

Our embroidery minimum begins at 12 pieces per design, making it a strong option for small runs, team apparel, and premium branded goods.

What are your turnaround times?

Standard embroidery production is typically completed within two weeks of final artwork approval and order confirmation.

Timelines may vary depending on garment sourcing, stitch complexity, and order size. If you’re working toward a deadline, let us know early so we can plan accordingly.

Do you offer rush embroidery?

Rush services may be available depending on our production schedule. Share your in-hands date when submitting your quote request and we’ll confirm feasibility and any expedited fees.

Do you source the garments?

Yes — we handle garment sourcing through our network of wholesale distributors. This ensures consistent quality, proper decoration compatibility, and competitive pricing.

We’re also happy to recommend styles based on your brand, budget, and decoration goals.

Can I provide my own garments?

Customer-supplied goods are reviewed case by case.

We evaluate:

  • Fabric type and structure

  • Embroidery surface suitability

  • Garment organization and counts

  • Spoilage risk during production

Because we cannot replace customer goods if damaged, a spoilage allowance (typically up to 2%) is standard. Additional handling fees may apply for specialty items.

Will I see a proof before production?

Yes — all orders include a digital placement proof for approval prior to stitching.

Physical pre-production samples may be available for an additional cost depending on project scope.

Can I mix garment styles or colors?

In many cases, yes. We can often run the same embroidery file across multiple garments within a single order.

However, significant variations may affect pricing or setup requirements.

Artwork & Digitizing

What file formats do you accept?

Vector files are preferred:

  • .AI

  • .EPS

  • .SVG

  • .PDF

High-resolution raster files may also work depending on artwork quality.

I’m not sure my artwork is embroidery-ready.

No problem — send it over. We’ll review your files and recommend any necessary adjustments to ensure clean stitch results.

Do you offer design services?

Yes — our team provides artwork cleanup, logo refinement, and custom design creation. Services are quoted based on scope.

What is digitizing?

Digitizing is the process of converting artwork into a stitch program that directs embroidery machines on stitch type, direction, density, and sequencing.

This step is essential for quality and is completed before production begins.

Thread & Color

What thread colors are available?

We offer a wide range of in-house thread colors suitable for most brand palettes.

Can you match brand colors?

We aim to match brand references as closely as possible using available thread colors. Specialty thread ordering may be available for specific needs.

Stitching Specs & Limitations

How does artwork translate to embroidery?

Embroidery uses thread — not ink — so extremely fine detail, small text, and gradients may require modification for stitch clarity.

Our team will advise on the best approach to preserve your design integrity.

How does stitch count affect pricing?

Embroidery pricing is largely based on stitch count.

Factors that increase stitches include:

  • Larger design size

  • Filled areas

  • Dense textures

  • Complex detail

Higher stitch counts require more production time and therefore increase cost.

What are minimum stitch requirements?

For best results:

  • Minimum line thickness: 1 mm

  • Minimum text height: 5 mm (all caps)

Smaller details may need adjustment, especially for hat or left-chest placements.and reinforce brand identity in subtle but impactful ways.
